All movie and TV show clips displayed on this website are used exclusively for educational purposes — to help users learn English by seeing how words and phrases are used in authentic, real-world contexts. This use is non-commercial, educational, and transformative in nature, as the clips are repurposed from entertainment into pedagogical material.

2. Nature of the Clips

Each clip shown on Popcorn Translater is a short excerpt — typically a few seconds long — taken from a much longer original work. The clips are presented without full audio tracks, without surrounding narrative context, and solely alongside their subtitle text and translation. Only a minimal portion of any work is used, and no clip is intended to substitute for or replace the viewing experience of the original film or television show.

3. No Substitution for Original Works

Popcorn Translater does not function as a streaming service, online cinema, or media distribution platform. The short clips cannot replace the original works in any meaningful way. Where available, we provide links to IMDb and other legitimate sources so that users can find and access the full original content through authorized channels. Our goal is to promote, not compete with, the original works.

4. Fair Use Under U.S. Copyright Law

We believe our use of short film clips qualifies as fair use under Section 107 of the U.S. Copyright Act, based on the following factors:
